Soorma_Bhopali
I think for the next match , they will drop Jayant and play Nair . If Rahane fails in next match also , then his place will come under question. Link to comment
WC2011INDIA
This series will end Rahane's test career. Next match he is going to fail in both innings. Game over. Sidhoni 1 Link to comment

King Tendulkar
Ironically today on biggest spin pitch rahane faced in yonks . Looked good yes soft dismissal but looked at ease and organised . While for whole England series low scores and also looked horrible at crease Link to comment

The Realist
Rahane looks mentally done. Has been a passenger for a while and if unable to play on home pitches then little point in being on the pitch. Not convinced that he is as good as made out to be - can't play spin well and body language is always so meek. WC2011INDIA 1 Link to comment

kosingh
Rahane's form is definitely a concern. In the last 5 tests he is averaging 22. When you go into a test with 5 specialists on a tough wicket, it's even more worrying when one of the batsmen is out of form. Link to comment
WC2011INDIA
Just prepare roads now. If we are lucky we might win a game and draw the rest. Link to comment
flat_wicket_bully
Both will play in the next match. Jayant will be dropped Link to comment
kira
Just drop this tailender rahane, can't hold a bat against the spinners Link to comment
Sachinism
Haven't seen Rahane in this match, other than his wicket in the first innings. But he's looked extremely suspect against spin this season, really been unable to judge the length of the ball, struggling or even scared of play front foot strokes vs spin. Time to get in the nets again Link to comment
Sidhoni
Rahane was our best test batsman until the series vs England. Barely 3-4 bad matches are not enough to drop him. That's like asking to drop Kohli if he happens to have a bad series here. Lord 1 Link to comment
Texy
Nair for Rahane & Kuldeep for Jayant Link to comment

It is not about the bad matches, it is his inability to play spin, since his first test in India it was pointed out that rahane is shyte against spin but I always thought that people were over analyzing and he would sort it out eventually, but since then his game against spin has not improved even a bit, it is not about runs but the fact that he looks absolutely clueless against spinners, it is time to drop him Link to comment
speedheat
Bloke with a half brain won't drop rahane !! He is must in that middle order and so as karun nair if any one deserves a kick it is that average jayant yadav can't spin to save his life Link to comment
PAA-G
I wudnt drop rahane, rather bring in Nair to strengthen batting and drop someone like Ishant sharma instead to bring in nair Lord 1 Link to comment
