yes, they should be but I am against people saying he took steroid so he gained pace overlooking the hard work he has put in. Mohd Asif also took nandrolone, one of the most used steroids among athletes, did he start bowling 145k after that?

He has shady past and it doesn't matter if it actually helped or not. Such characters are mostly habitual and there is no guarantee of future.

just because he took some supplement that contained a steroid to reduce weight , it becomes shady. Really? Most people who workout at the gym take such supplements does not make them shady or habitual. He played for GL last IPL which means he must have gone through another testing and nothing came out of that.

exactly, many ppl use these supplement, specially before marriage lol

And sometimes, those companies who make fat loss supplements do not even mention their product contains steroid. Otherwise, product wont sell and steroid brings results.

Anyway , i dont see any problem in taking steroids. They should not even be banned and should be legal in sports.

This is absolutely insane. No. Can't have performance enhancing sterioids be made legal in sports.

Can't have Tennis players going crazy out there on court and taking advantage over other players or atheletes in olympics or in any sports for that matter.

I have followed a lot of LOI domestic cricket recently and watched pretty much all young fast bowlers - Including. Aniket, Rajpoot etc and the most impressive among all has been Sangwan to me for LOI's.

The dude is bowling fast these days and good thing is that he provides us that left hand bowling option, which we currently don't have in 50 overs after the retirement of Zaheer.

Fast bowling though is not about bowling just fast but also line and length and this is where he had been pretty good too but he can only improve now if given a break into Indian team. We have to get this guy fast as he seems to be bowling at his peak.

Sangwan- Bumrah-Bhuvi bowling attack can be impressive with Shami if he is fit. This is good young attack which needs to be given plenty of games together to become a strong force for 2019wc in England.

On a different subject, India should look to play following team in all 3 formats ;)  -

Kohli Dhawan Pant Gambhir Unmukt MilindKumar Mishra Nehra Ishant Sangwan MananSharma

You want to make something legal to use for all in sports which could be extremely dangerous for many atheletes.

Do you know that some PED's are extremely deadly for human body where as they could alter an athelete's body?

You want to create a culture where young kids would look into investing time and money in finding the right substance to enhance their potential of winning over their peer in a game. This will also affect their health at such a young age.

It is going to be a recipe to disaster.

There is no place for PEDs in sports.

Most developed nations have a hidden dropping networks, remember Bay area Balcony, E Germany , Joyner, all many .

Steroids kills you n is terrible some athletes from E Germany women's team r now men coz they took male hormones.

Sangwan case is diff he is not a bodybuilder or sprinter, cricket is a game of skills n taking steroids will not add pace to bowling, yes he made a mistake n paid his price, but the discussion is getting obnoxious

That is all fine but we have moved on to another discussion. No one is discussing here about Sangwan's history now wheather he is right or wrong. Those were taken for weight issues so no one is even discussing that.

We are talking about the adverse things of drugs like how it will create a crazy culture among youth if we make PDEs legal in sports.
