Good for long term as he is very

fragile and would give false hope to Kohli and management affer bowling good in few games and then leaving in the middle of the IPL due to injury scare. RCB end goals hould be to habe their best bowlers available for playoffs, and if Starc can't do that then they have to move on. 

 

Teams are better of not hiring such overseas players and concentrating on actually picking other bowlers like Chris Jordan or Tymal Mills type who would not be rushed back home by their boards for little injury scare.

The weakest part of RCB is pace bowling and they lose their best pacer 

 

They should buy 2 good international (Rabada, Mills etc.) and 2 potentially good Indian (Thampi, Nathu etc.) pacers in the auction. They should not look for anything else (batsmen, spinners, all rounders).
