sandeep
He's pretty much the worst 'keeper-bat in the top 6-7 ODI teams. Not sure why Aussies keep persisting with him. Is his "banter" that invaluable to the kangaroo's "spirit" in the field? Link to comment
Laaloo
This guy is abysmal. Tim Paine may be a better option. Link to comment
Shunya
Seriously, Haddin was such a downgrade from Gilly. And this guy is even worse than Haddin. Seems like oldies pushed too much of Keeping skills b.s that every keeper forgot how to bat. More like naa idhar ka na udhar ka. They forgot that modern cricket needs proper balanced keeper which is so crucial in the team combination. Link to comment
Rasgulla
He is in the team just as a keeper who can bat a bit.. They couldn't find another Gilly not every team can be lucky like us Edited September 21, 2017 by Rasgulla Link to comment
SK_IH
Also cartwright, why is he even in the squad when he is not even going to bowl. They could have selected khwaja as a backup opener Link to comment
Trichromatic
Exceptional keeper who is poor batsman is probably not the requirement of ODI cricket anymore especially for fast bowling country like Aus. Batsman don't get much edges or there isn't much uneven bounce or movement to handle. Being good at stumping is probably still needed. Safe keeper + decent batsman is what teams should aim for. Poor keeper irrespective of batting is still no. Link to comment

He has done everything else - started as leg spinner, then a batsman, a good fielder (but poor catcher) and now the captain. Might as well as do keeping. Link to comment
