While Dhoni was an amazing captain in the LOI's he was pretty mediocre in the test format particularly overseas. He was always on the defensive and waited for things to go his way instead of trying to force the issue. Link to comment

Post 2011 WC he screwed Indian cricket badly, that is also true. Kohli in his first couple of years has been very disappointing, esp with his selection and dictatorship. Link to comment
