Captains XI Len Hutton Sunil Gavaskar Don Bradman (C) Viv Richards Sachin Tendulkar Gary Sobers Mahendra Dhoni (W) Ian Botham Wasim Akram Imran Khan Bishen Bedi Non captains XI Sehwag Barry Richards Barrington Weekes Pollock Miller Gilchrist Warne Marshall Lillee Mcgrath By a slender margin I would back the captains XI having more talent with the bat as well as allrounders .Non captains XI has a marginally better bowling attack. He gave Virat a chance to captain a dead rubber and play another batsman and keeper. Also ODI was his best format, WC was quite close and he wasn't getting any younger. Sounds sensible to me.
