philcric Posted March 25, 2013 Share Posted March 25, 2013 Some of his shot making is pure thrill. Obviously he doesn't have the game for longer versions, but yes he does resemble Sehwag in a way. He's somewhat similar to Dwayne Smith of WI, some outstanding shots but do not have a game for long innings. One of the better young players in RCB. I like watching him bat. Link to comment

Last 2 years was so blah, 2011 was immediately after WC and 2012 was on the back of humiliating test defeats in Eng and Aus. This year the mood is better after 4-0 whitewash. Also, no test series till 6 months after IPL. So there's time for preparation as well as nursing IPL injuries. Also a chance to have a look at some young indian pacers and batsmen.
