Strengths

• Best pace attack in the universe 
• Return of Shehzad would improve its opening batting
• A bunch of utility players such as Hafeez, Malik, Sarfarz, Akmal, etc.  who can all contribute as a group
• Legendary skipper Afridi's expected Man of the Series performance
• Playing at Kolkata and Mohali 

Weaknesses - None except:

• Off-field enemies such as the evil BCCI-ICC combo 
• Umpires - Wrong decisions such as marginal LBWs not given 

 

Expected Results:

• vs. Tigers -> Asia Cup's revenge will be taken 
• vs. Hunters -> Hunters can't get lucky all the time, and the game is at Kolkata where Markhors have been mauling the hunters 
• vs. Kiwis -> Its Markhors' lucky team. A quick strike with its legendary horns and the kiwi is history

I wont be surprised if Aus and Pak make semifinal from this group and SA and Lanka/Eng from other group.

I kind of disagree with a lot

Best Pace attack- Naa, Only amir looks threatning . Their Attack is srsly overrated

Wahab is pretty inconsistent will be very on of and wasim akram recently pointed out in an interview till he learns an inswing he wud be inconsistent only.  

Irfan - Doesnt look the same bowler what he burst on the scene, And teams have kind of figured him out. His few balls did look threatning but the pitch was diff now it wud be flat decks. Also he is tall unit and very injury prone and he is huge huge liability in field

Sami- On flat wkts will be trashed. 

And Add no quality spinner . I really think their attack is srsly overrated. 

And even if they Bowl well , their fielding will goof up 

And ofcourse Afridi is a damn bad captain, The more they r under pressure the more they try to play safe n defensive

For me - Sa who has steyn, Rabaada, abott and Morris - gud death bowlers, steyn is exp n bowls well with new ball , all are gud athletes + Tahir. Now thats looks a complete attack with gud fielders. Faf is also a gud captain

Bang- Mustafizur, Al amin, Mashrafe , taskin Add their spinners and they also field well. Mortaza is damn impressive as captain. 

Even NZ n India have far better attacks and complete attacks. Add they have gud fielders and captains

Return of Shehzad- The guy is just a wannabe, might do well on few flat tracks but put some pressure on him and when gud bowlers bowl at him he ll choke . His biggest weakness is in pressure situation he doesnt have the ability to rotate strike

Utility players- Hafeez , yes cud be. But isnt his bowling banned and also havent seen him do well in Pressure. His innings against sri lanka well thats lanka weakest team in this Cup. 

Sarfraz- he is a gud cricketer with gud head, i have lot of respect for him . but whats the point pakistan doesnt know how and where to use him. His batting order is so uncertain

UMar akmal- in t20 he can be threatening but again consistency is the question

Afridi- bowling isnt that gr8 anymore, his batting is like tail ender comes of in ages. once in a while 

Legendary skipper afridi- Damn bad captain he is, I use to like his captaincy in beg , but now its gone off. reason may be his own perfomance, not gud tunning with coach. Doesnt look in control of team now . Too much going on his head. Also his record in t20 is quite bad

 

I think they have a lot of weakness-

1. PAk media n public and the fear of outrage if they loose to India and now even bangladesh and add getting kicked out of tournament

2. Overrated bowling attack . They shudnt live in the myth that they can give around 130 to their bowlers and defend. These picthes will be flat and teams like Wi, India , Aus, Eng, Aus, NZ have long long batting line up 130 wnt be enough and their fielder wnt help the cause.

3. Fielding- i think they have 3-4 gud fielder but not enough in this day n age . Drop catches, missed runouts, mis- fields, Stopping extra runs are all very crucial things.

4. Lack of quality spinner- Their biggest strength previously over many teams were saeed ajmal and controlled bowling by hafeez which even made afridi dangerous. Now afridi is alone. So See of amir and target those middle overs. They use win of many teams just becoz of ajmal.

5. And their group- all teams in their group Ind, Aus, NZ, And even bang are better teams. They have better captains, fielding sides and better batting. Off lately even bang has had better of them . I Wnt be shocked if they go winless. They havent played mustafizur a lot, Remember Bcb stopped him from going to PSl and he did debut against us. So they dnt have much idea about him. Return of tamim has boosted bangladesh . 

6. Now coming to venues- Playing India n bang in Eden. Crowd wud be against them and when u play infront  almost lakh a ppl and in WC the occasion can get on some youngsters. And again Aus n NZ in mohali well well well, the only way to trap those two teams were spin friendly wkts but they dnt hve spinner and mohali is placid flat , bloody gud for stroke play. the batting lineup that aus n nz have might post something around 200 which no way on earth they can achieve. Pakistan only chance was slow low wkts against these two. 

 

Acc to me Pakistan might go winless , and when dressing room is not a happy place the chances are more so .
