The sad part is everybody knows , nobody talks on air and life goes on . sharma too has now entered kohli category now . Shame that in a team of bumrah , pant , yash with exciting al rounders like reddy and sundar , we didn’t win the test championship once. This knock was played when match was already won . not much pressure. Tired bowling . Rahul and jaiswal 200 run partnership killed the Aussies . Kohli didn’t have swinging ball , slow turn and tired fielders . His 100 is perhaps gonna cost us a future match as I dint think this showed me anything new. If kohli does play well in pink ball match , maybe his decline has stalled a bit - I doubt it . This match was one inspite of kohli getting out to a regular short pitch ball in first innings and Indu’s collapsing to 150 but saved by the greatest indian test player of all time , Sree Bumrah

Padikkal is a fine batsman . Survived 23 new balls in extreme swing against best pace bowling . Kohli will not survive 3-5 balls . Lots of good talent around . Our t20 team is full of players like Samson , Verma etc or rinku who have good fc averages and can easily step into test team . Sarfaraz is sitting out and he should be playing in lieu of kohli . Our media is useless . Not one player is asking for kohli to be dropped . I have a gut feeling that kohli will be dropped in test no 3 after he fails in pink ball test

Strange to see siraj when Akashdeep is bowling well bumrah harshit and akash with washy and reddy would make a deep batting and bowling unit . Dont know why ashwin over washy is better …

Fitness is inportsnt too . But match fitness and practise is key . Stay in England , fly to play in India is not gonna work

Yes they loose a few series . Their pitches are consistent . Player selection is consistent and those series that they loose are followed by ones they win . They don’t loose in dramatic fashion . They don’t doctor their pitches . The matches played there are always top notch fun to watch . You are missing the point . If u haven’t seen how India lost in 2011-2012 due to ageing batsmen, u ain’t understanding the point . It was clear in 2010 that sachin is dragging also , dravid is nearly out but we didn’t show them the door. It was v clear last 3 years kohli is a dud . Dont think aussie selectors would have continued with a player like that . Esp with such poor performance .

Few things - on domestic pitches , siraj is useless . Our selectors err on right kind of bowlers . Gutka kumar is bette mr than siraj imo on indian pitches . At least he is honest .
