Can't watch more than 20-30 min. Always reflect on the score card and that too barely. You have to be on welfare to watch a full test match me thinks. In my own personal opinion, test cricket + modern day = failure.

The reason why the BCCI gets so much flak at the ICC table is because the gora lundfakeers from Austraya and Ingland continue to value test cricket over limited overs cricket, and international cricket over franchise cricket. Their agenda to 'revitalize' test cricket and arbitrarily create 'context' is nothing but an act of self-preservation, and a desperate attempt to retain influence after stupidly missing out on the T20 train. In fact, those miserable old chxthiyas in Ingland STILL HAVEN'T ACCEPTED the idea of franchise based T20 (!!!!!!), even though they have the KING OF FRANCHISE SPORT IN THEIR OWN DAMN BACKYARD (Premier League football). If T20 officially becomes the premier format of the game - and some could argue it already is - it all but confirms India's place as the home of cricket, and crowns BCCI as the lone custodian of the game. The thought of being nothing more than a FEEDER league for the IPL is their worst nightmare. Any sane cricket fan will see that T20 is the future of the sport. It's the only way to expand the sport's reach, and the only way to give it a modern profile. Yet, we'd rather pay lip service to some boring, shitty, out-dated version of the game. What a shame. Even Kabbadi and ISL does better TRP numbers than test cricket. The writing is on the wall, and its about time the administrators smell the coffee.

Well, a lot of youngsters, like myself, don't really care about this format nor do we have time to follow this. We already have plenty on our hands to deal with in LIFE. A full test match can literally be 40H thats a whole week of work or so many school work that can be accomplished. It can be the ultimate format of cricket but in this modern world, I personally don't see it being entertaining for youngsters. Not just me, I have a lot of Indians, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Srilankan and even couple of West Indies friends aswell, no one seems to care about this format. ODI seems to be the new test formart and T20, the new ODI. I have a feeling that the test match lovers will come out to bash both of us for our views
horizonspeaks Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 The crux of the problem here is that a Test match is never "abandoned" where ODIs and T20s are. If 20% or more of a Test match is not played due to rain or weather, then the match should be declared no result instead of drawn.
