Summer of 42 they call it. Read about it, it was a very eventful tour, lots of infighting, tadka, backstabbing, soap opera. In 1971 we won in Emgland and WI to become the number 1 team in the world but that tour destroyed everything.

Keep digging into the previous millenium to make yourselves feel better.   Judging from the trend line of Pak cricket team's performance, you'll be needing to do that quite often.

 

 

Can't blame the Pak batting for failing in the 4th - but they should be blamed for not putting the game away in the 1st innings.  Got so many lives, failed to make them count.
