Without seeing the movie, how the heck do you know it is being glorified ? And yes, US has plenty of movies that glorify mafia criminals. What is the godfather series, if not glorifying the mafiosi ? My own thinking says, films and tv shows are all fantasy. They are not documentaries, i don't care if they make a movie about someone blowing up India or USA or being the evil king of it all. So long as its a compelling storyline and is well made, its a good movie. Simply pointing out that better educated societies than India gets this.

People used to see him and the former CM, Madhav Singh Solanki openly together in the public. This was a reason even Congress workers in Gujarat, like my Father and Grandfather stopped being members of Congress... Riots, bomb blasts, the murder of a Home Minister: his gang was linked to all of it. Media has seen their Delhi masters flunk in every aspect of governance, especially security matters. So you will expect a lot of clickbait news in the coming days to divert public attention.
