England will open with David Wiley , a medium pacer who bowls rarely over 125 .They r leaving out a fast bowler like Finn for him.Mills only plays T20.

As for Pakistan despite his pace Riaz is crap. You wanna pick bowlers like that? Pace and zero brain? Even Hassan in Australia (where Speed meters r spiked ) was bowling at best in 135k.

Southee is a swing bowler who doesn't bowl in 140s either.

Srilinaka Bangladesh and WI bowling r not even worth discussing.Have u seen eco of WI bowlers for ex?

Only Aus and SA genuinely pick 140k attacks .If a thing our attack is the 3rd fastest in international cricket

David willey is an allrounder...he opens for his domestic team in LOIS...as I said there is a space for Anderson,Bravo or even Grandhomme type bowlers who can have a great spell in favorable conditions and bring much more to the team.

a specialist bowler at 125k no thanks

Willey operates in an around 135k which is good also england has him because they believe in variation in attack which had 3 145k bowlers

Hassan Ali has tremendously increased his pace he now operates around 140k with the fastest of 147k

Southi can criss 140+ if he wants but prefers to stay around 135k to 135+ for swing which is perfectly fine

SL and Bangladesh too hand at least 2 genuine quicks operating for them

Chameera, kumara for sl and taskin and rubel for bd

Everyone is an opener in English Domestics.Because they r obsessed with stupid pinch hitters .

Swann was an opener for his domestic team.Doesnt mean he was picked as AR for England.

Same with Wiley. He bats at 10 for England and definitely not picked as all rounder .

The others u mentioned Anderson Bravo all bat in the top 6-7 for their team

Willey is a left armer that is advantage and a big hitter down the order. a left armer bowling 130-135 isnt bad especially if he plays a lot of games in swing friendly England. Here are his speeds in first ODI against us. Quickest is around 87 mph which 140KPH.

Are you guys watching what Snadeep and Mohit are doing at death?

Bowling slow and putting variations.

Low speeds but not fast, and they are winning it now for Punjab.

This is better than no variations 140kS for t20s and LOI.

Guys put this in your head, pace alone can't win you games, got o have variations and that 130k bowlers with excellent variations like Dwayne Bravo or Sandeep will win you more games in this format.

Bump, Read this again, this is what I was talking about. Sandeep bowls another exception death over.

He did his part, now onto other bowler to save the game. Great death bowling by Sandeep.

Some accurate, not Phaaasht, but good variations by Sandeep, just what you need.

Mohit and Sandeep went over 10 r.p.o where as Bumrah at 6.Just shows the diff in class.

Sandeep was the 2nd best pacer today after Bumrah. Consistent with what I've maintained all along, i.e. in shorter formats Bumrah and Bhuvi are the only Indian seamers ahead of Sandeep. Has proven the same today :agree:

He can bowl in PP and bowl tough overs at the death. Despite bowling an extra delivery coz of that bad wide call, conceded only 7 runs in 19th over. Quite impressive :hatsoff:

Going at 10 R.p.o is not impressive even in the t20.

Did you watch the match or even looked at bowling scorecards? The teams scored 230 and 223 respectively on that pitch and here are the bowling figures for the pacers...

    MJ McClenaghan    4    0    54
    JJ Bumrah    4    0    24
     SL Malinga    4    0    45

     Bowling    O    M    R    W
    Sandeep Sharma    4    0    42
     MJ Henry    2    0    40
     I Sharma    3    0    29
    MM Sharma    4    0    57

It is when the team is going at over 12 for most innings

also got crucial wicket of Pandya

His team went at 11 runs per over where most other bowlers of his team are not that good.

He went at 10.5 runs per over.

His 4th over was very good but the  other 3 were below average.
