Even Haroon Logart wants to make Indians his slave

Is Lorgot right on his stance about BCCI should confirm South Aftican tour first

  1. 1. Should BCCI confirm the tour?

    • Yes, BCCI must gve them confirmation for the tour.
    • Not needed, they backstabbed us in the voting. They can keep their players in South Africa, we don't want them in IPL
    • For the sake of Test Cricket, BCCI should confirm tour
    • Both parties should make some truce. Both International cricket and IPL need to be respected.

BCCI is under no obligation to tour South Africa.

He question is far reaching the point, does BCCI and Indian public want to tour any country or any country tour India.

Not really, We allready pay them and owe nothing. If tomorrow, devil and Amala doesnt appear in IPL, no one cares. Fact

If no overseas players play in IPL 11 , IPL 12 will be supported by Indian public as it is just now?

I think BCCI needs international stars till IPL -15. But for none of Internationals to play, You will need Manohar and CoA work in conjunction

You want overseas players  attached to boards of other countries to come and learn your domestic cricketers how to be much better cricketers!!

That comes with a cost as you have found out

Those cricketers are paid money. They dont come for free. Most times that money is more than what that cricketer earns back home. For a board like CSA whose players routinely leave them for 100k or 200k County contracts, they should be careful about million dollar contracts in IPL.

We will tour who we want to.If CSA wants to arm twist is they can take their players away.Last time India cut short a tour to SA,CSA lost 20mn USD. What will happen if India doesnt tour at all?

Secondly CSA doesnt have unilateral say in player release matters, the South African players union by law is part of any agreement that they sign with cricketers.Good Luck convincing the players to leave their multi million IPL contracts and on top of that you cant pay them well since you just lost your most lucrative tour.

CoA will go.Their time is up. Limaye is already involved in a conflict of Interest case.

Everyone needs everyone, I feel if their was a hit of humility by India as being top dog and getting largest share over the last 4 years then this silliness would need not happen.

If I was Indian my question would be , whatever sum of  money the BCCI gets what is it spent on?

I certainly don't see it spent on grassroots cricketers and facilities for them in India, I do see lots and lots office bearers, administrators making sure they are first in the queue

Cos your local talent ie domestic players learn compete, evolve, get better playing against these super talents. Iirc in ipl 1-5, our domestic bowlers and bats fell like pins against these international stars. In IPL 10, most of local boyz are either beating or giving tough fight

We all know tht, but my whole thing is that ineternational cricket is as important. If we won't respect CSA players and their bilateral series preperations, then they won't respect us either.

Just like we want Indian plauers to be fit and ready for certain series, they also want to protect their players and get them ready for their respective series. Whats harm in that? That is what my question was to MM. why we need such power to block their preperations for their bilateral series. We shouldn't for our benifit.

CSA has most to loose in this episode. Here is one board to which BCCI went so close that they put on to put a request to allow Indian players in their domestic league.

We already started a series against them which would have made them earn more money the Ashes for good.

If i was Haroon Logart, i would have thought long and hard before being part of that coup.

I think Big 3 was mistake. Everone accepted India was big. No one (pakistan/lanka/africa/windies) was/is ready to accept that they are smaller then ecb or CA

The CSA will be in for a tough time.

Also the BCCI should restart proceedings againist WICB for $42mn loss due to them leaving the series mid way.Lets see them fall in line.

ICC should give IPL a window. Why blame IPL. For example KKR has all the right to be greedy and put such restrictive bonus/ penalty clause so that its contracted player stay with it for whole tournament. BCCI is mowhere involved

Your post..... " wants to make Indians his slave".... But your tone of replies are that you want every cricket board to be slaves of the BCCI ......irony is not lost on you

So preparations will be ok for SA if India was willing to tour in December?
