Bhadrolok does not mean spineless. Subhash Bose was a bhadralok too but he had balls and Gandhis & Nehrus hated him for that. That generation is gone. This new generation is spineless, selfish bunch of cowards who lacks any originality or pride in their own culture. Bengal is finished.

That generation bhadralok had spine, nowadays totally different matter. I fully acknowledge the legendary contributions to our freedom struggle by Bengalis of that era. Why just Netaji, Anushilan Smiti/Juganthar members were as great as him and are hardly talked about today. Rash Behari Bose, Bagha Jatin, Aurobindo and thousands of other prosperous upper class Bengalis had balls and sacrificed much more than people from other social class from any other region of the country. Contrast that to Bengali youth of today, generation useless

Current generation Bengalis are excessive "Paka" (full of themselves, egoistic & having superiority complex)...

Many won't even think themselves Indians and that would meet equating themselves with other lowly Indian regions or communities...

However I have hope that things will change... It'll take lots of time, sacrifices and change of course... But eventually things will change... The process is on...

In recent civic polls, TMc polled >55% and BJP was second(around 30%) !!! Sensible Bengali Hindus do realize their future is in jeopardy if things continue the way they are. In the future CPM, Congress may get sidelined but is BJP equipped to beat TMC? Do they have the gundas/bomb making factories/contract killers that TMC-Left have over there? And booth capturing skills have to improve for BJP if they are to compete with those goons. I prefer even Left over Mamata's party, Bengal left is better than Mallu left but we can't go back to them again after what they did in 35 years !!!

Kerala regime change is impossible methinks. Demographics don't favour BJP there, only 54% of their voters are Hindus and rapidly dwindling due to low fertility rate of Hindu women. I read some article a while back which forecasted that Kerala would be Muslim majority in 2045 and the distribution was something like Muslims=44%, Hindus 43%, Christians, 13%. Christians also have low TFR, but Muslims.....

Malappuram is a Muslim majority area and probably the richest region in Kerala, almost all families have someone in the Gulf from there, Muslims are the most well to do and educated community there, but TFR according to 2011 census was 3.6 for Muslims there and only 1.8 for Hindus, 1.6 for Christians. Show this to people who say TFR comes down with rising income and education, doesn't work with Muslims. Richie Rich Malappuram Muslim TFR> Bimaru Bihar Hindu TFR(3.5). Point of no return for Mallus.

I hope BJP doesn't goes the CPM/TMC goonda way... RSS will play an important part... also BJP is trying to break the Muslim votes using various ways, like Triple Talaq, Cooking gas & other economic strategies...

Communal disharmony & riots to polarise the votes could be substitute to goondaism...

It's a long process... however at the end of the day the local population have to hard decisions and fearless choices...

The richest region in Kerala would be Tiruvalla or Trivandrum .Followed by Kochi.

Kannur is probably the only problematic area in Kerala because both communists and RSS have serious but jobs there.Has been the same since 60s.

And tell me what is the education percentage of Madhya Pradesh compared with Kerala? Or UP ? Or any other state for that matter.

Or in Healthcare index ? Transparency ? Accountability in Governance?

You know like things that matter to people who actually live there.

Wait for a few years bro, the bubble Malayalis live in today will go pop and at the same time North Indian states will march ahead. The only area Kerala will be number 1 will be sending max recruits to ISIS and max political murders per annum. If I were a Malayali, the Gulf situation would bother me no end. Forget manufacturing, even Kerala's agriculture is on the brink of collapse. How long will Gulf sustain Kerala economy? At least MP doesn't depend on external entities for its survival.

http://postcard.news/mamata-appoints-muslim-fanatic-chairman-famous-tarakeshwar-temple-board-mamata-banerjee-determined-turn-bengal-islamic-state/

What is going on in that state? A fanatic who took pride in the fact that his constituency is mini-Pakistan, a fanatic who threatened to kill Taslima Nasreen, a chewt who has vandalized Hindu  homes in his areas and indulged in communal violence/arson repeatedly is now head of Tarakeshwar Temple Board !!!! Bengali Hindus...you are cowards, if you are wiped out like KPs one day, you deserve it.

We will see great unrest in Bengal over next 3 years. BJP is really trying to muscle its way in.  To mobilise the Hindu base.

I fear thins will get worse before they get better. WB politics like Kerala is rooted in violence. There is be some bloodshed before here is change.

This particular case is more of an issue of anti-Hindu bigotry legalized by the Indian government:

Mosques, Churches, and Gurudwaras are owned privately by citizens who follow their respective religions.

Hindu and Jain temples are property of the Indian state. This means that politicians, babus, and political chelas are allowed to manage Hindu temples, loot temple donations, defile religious rules of different temples, etc.

Stupid Hindus still think that India is a secular country :hysterical:

While you can blame Namo govt for not freeing the temples (and it would be easy because logically there is should be no opposition to this. Also temple management comes under concurrent list, So centre can pass a law and states have to follow suit), What sort of management will be substituted for transforming  the temple ecosystem the way a hindu wants it?

First step has to come from non-government institutions. Create a blueprint; Start a pilot project in a state or two to show how it will work.

Just freeing the temples en masse ,will throw the entire thing into chaos and further theft and destruction of Hindu ecosystem will ensue.

The easiest thing would be handing the land ownership titles over to temple priests and then the temple priests follow Vedic precedent and run the temples as places of worship cum schools cum banks. Even during the Chola period temples were the sources of Hindu banking.
