i dont understand why its so difficult. its simple India does not play bilaterals so that Pak does not get benefits. India plays them in ICC tournaments so that they can advance. Simple.

The question should be why do India, Pakistan always get drawn in the same groups? I remember ICC had to admit they do it purposefully. So we should just demand a fair draw! Both nations won't play each other always in these tournaments. Issue solved.

Where is this logic coming from "if India does not want to play Pakistan then they shouldn't play in ICC tournaments also."

Why is it so hard for some people to understand playing bilateral series will benefit PCB and Pakistan in general and playing ICC will benefit India. Why is India obligated to do anything to Pakistan.

its disingenuous, does not account clear communication and logic from other side. Somy guess is Pakistani source peddled by bleeding heart Indians who have muddled logic themselves.

Its hard to imagine that this is even a debate here on ICF. As explained by everyone, its clear that it is in our benefit to play ICC events and not Bilaterals.

I liked how our Army chief had explained it few days back about Kashmir situation and I am sure same strategy is being applied on all types of relation with Pak. We have to fight dirty with an even dirtier opposition, so do everything that is beneficial and discard everything that can be benefit to them. Simple !!! Rules of engagement cannot be Black and White as Sohail or Bhajji or Azhar are expecting in the video.

"This is a proxy war. Proxy war is a dirty war. It is played in a dirty way. The rules of engagements are there when the adversary comes face-to-face and fights with you. It is a dirty war... That is where innovation comes in. You fight a dirty war with innovations,"

Also, seeing the narrative in media and the frustration of Pakistanis, I love that we are doing the right thing as it is hurting them where it should.
