We always like to think this, but it is rarely true. Tendulkar, Ganguly, Ponting, Waugh all played under other captains. If captaincy doesnt ork out with Kohli and he is replaced, what's he going to do? Retire? Unlikely. He'll have to go along with the decision.

Don't know...but  the selectors should keep the option open.Let him know he is replacable.
