Stuge Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Have travelled a lot by this train a lot as a child . This train has 75 odd stations and travels about 2300km (From Puri to Haridwar)
surajmal Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 all tracks are old, fatigued and need to be re-layed. Apparently there was some work being done on this line as well. So, whichever engineer was incharge of the work order needs to be booked for negligence.

I know lots of measures have been taken but punish the slackers who think "sab chalta hai". Strong message has to go out that this is not the same india. rkt.india Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 Appalling carelessness of railway employees lead to this tragic accident. India needs a dictator who can teach this guys how to do their work. Repair work was going on and they ran away without joining the track. They didn't even inform station or used flags to stop the train.
