Uthappa was mediocre, played everything across n a big lbw candidate, Mayank has a good technique, plays all around, has more skill n talent also can shift gears n is definetly a candidate for India colors soon.

uthappa was very talented but his temperament let him down

The Jagannadh rath seems to be rolling into List A matches too.. problem is our top order is well sorted out. How does he fare at 4 or 5.

think he's more a boundary-hitter than a strike rotater. cannot see him at 4 or 5.

Probably has the most legitimate claim to middle order vacancies in Team India.

Wont survive in the middle order , especially in LOIs . Hes a pretty awesome timer of the ball , but plays a lot of high risk shots . He needs the cushion of PPs early in his innings , to be fair like most openers around . His game is pretty similar to Sehwags .

Agree he always play high risk game. But we can never write -off a batsman in this sort of form. Given there is no vacancy in top order, he can be given an opportunity in loi middle order.

50 again today. Should score a big one in the knockouts to get into reckoning for selection.

Yes but even otherwise should be in the list of probables. Too good a player to ignore. Saw him today hit a six of a spinner above long-on on the back foot Sehwag like.

Mayank Aggarwal is killing it. But i still feel very bad for him because our Indian openers are showing no signs of leaving their place for Aggarwal. Both Dhawan and Rohit are in the peak of their forms in ODI cricket.

Mayank Aggarwal, just wait, your time will come.

We can also try him in Place of Vijay in Tests, Vijay is already 35.

Vijay is too invaluable in tests, especially in overseas conditions, I think he is irreplaceable. Let him retire first.

I know IPL isn't high standard cricket but Mayank did look awesome on many occasions- excellent hand eye coordination. I'm surprised RCB never gave him more of a look in. I wouldn't mind him being tried out for India given his recent domestic performances.

Somehow when i watch this guy he doesnt convince me that he will do to well at international level atleast now.  I see guys like pant, gill, shaw, nair and they look like international materials but somehow mayank doesnt give me that confidence
