Ankit_sharma03 Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 mayank has IPL to make world notice him IMO i dnt see him doing that well at international level
renjith Posted February 16, 2018 Posted February 16, 2018 problem with mayank is he is too flashy and looks like getting out anytime.

diga Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 wow ... highest run getter in group stages of Vijay Hazare trophy and has played 1 match less
King Tendulkar Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 So blitzes ranji and now blitzed vijay hazare. Some achievement

Wont survive in the middle order , especially in LOIs . Hes a pretty awesome timer of the ball , but plays a lot of high risk shots . He needs the cushion of PPs early in his innings , to be fair like most openers around . His game is pretty similar to Sehwags .

Given there is no vacancy in top order, he can be given an opportunity in loi middle order.
CricMaveRick Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 50 again today. Should score a big one in the knockouts to get into reckoning for selection.

Yes but even otherwise should be in the list of probables. Too good a player to ignore. Saw him today hit a six of a spinner above long-on on the back foot Sehwag like. Prateek3801 1
Prateek3801 Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Mayank Aggarwal is killing it. But i still feel very bad for him because our Indian openers are showing no signs of leaving their place for Aggarwal. Both Dhawan and Rohit are in the peak of their forms in ODI cricket. Mayank Aggarwal, just wait, your time will come.
CoverDrive Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 With the state of our middle order he should definitely be looked at. It is not test cricket that you need to pick players from their position only.
King Tendulkar Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Lets pick kl raul first lol looks like we have a project raina going on lamellavig and flamy 1 1
jusarrived Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 His game has definitely improved from what I saw today , he was always a gifted timer , had all the strokes but looks like hes worked on his defensive game which is allowing him to play these long innings . Prateek3801 1
Kohlifan Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 We can also try him in Place of Vijay in Tests, Vijay is already 35.
King Tendulkar Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Gunned it in ranji and vijay hazare . No joke racking up these numbers lamellavig 1

mancalledsting Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 I know IPL isn't high standard cricket but Mayank did look awesome on many occasions- excellent hand eye coordination. I'm surprised RCB never gave him more of a look in. I wouldn't mind him being tried out for India given his recent domestic performances.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 Somehow when i watch this guy he doesnt convince me that he will do to well at international level atleast now. I see guys like pant, gill, shaw, nair and they look like international materials but somehow mayank doesnt give me that confidence flamy 1
