Could you explain who are doing well and aren't getting chances ? Its funny how people blame him and Kohli for every crap that goes on outside.. fazal was one of the highest scores who is 32 with average of 92.. Do you want him ? In RSA.. Why would they even take risk with new players

Iam not saying players should be straight away taken to sa(the new faces).Why is KL Rahul been left?they should have taken one reserve opener to sa.Infact he should be first choice opener in sa.Why was Kuldeep not selected in the first place in the team?do we really need strong reasons to understand that Ashwin has no role outside sc..?Who needs to be blamed other than Shastri ,Kohli?

He certainly isn't. Kumble tried got thrown away by captain. Shastri is a yesman. Kohli is the main reason. Had Shastri been more assertive he would have same fate as Kumble as coach.

Once again the whole dynamics of captain and cach needs to be challeneged.

The only solution is two coaches and three formats, three captains.

At the same time I am used to Neanderthal thinking of selectors and do not expect any thing preogressive moving forward.

I must say. The man sure knows his way around. He was an average cricketer who made most of his limited talents. He along with Mascarenhas were at forefront of commercialising of the game in India. He was really a horrible commentator but he had presence. Pretty much like this interview. If you look at it, he didn’t say much here. Just the bluster would make a lesser mind feel motivated. 

 

Btw what a third rate interviewer. Probably had a list of questions discussed. Seemed to want gossip from Shastri on captain’s wedding.
