Kookaburra ball is a seamless ball. So it is hard for a finger spinner to be effective. He did more than he was exepctedto do.

What happened to Lyon yaar? Getting outclassed by Maharaj who was brutally outbowled by Ashwin just a few months back. In the Ash vs Maharaj contest the Indian totally overshadowed his counterpart, if not for Pappu and our butter fingered fielders, that Cape Town performance would have been so so special both for him and Team India .

#1 bowler is supposed to do much more on a dry 5th day pitch.

Ashwin outbowled Maharaj during Ind vs SA

Maharaj outbowled Lyon during SA vs Aus

But according to some ICFers, both Maharaj and Lyon are better than Ashwin
