At least you accepted Shami is top bowler in 2nd innings. What makes him do that.

Just seems to run in harder and with intent in 2nd innings. Maybe fitness is at the back of mind and he is not pushing himself in 1st innings.

Very unpredictable bowler.  I know he picked bunch of tailenders. But still he set all of them up nicely.

Everyone cursed him (rightly so in some points) and he didn't even bowl that we'll,still picks 15 wkt @17

With the customary number of catches dropped of his bowling behind the wickets, I think it is very unfair to criticize his performance as not being worthy of holding a place in the test XI. His skill is there for everyone to see. I totally agree with your assessment that we need to be more patient and supportive of such bowlers as they are worth their price in gold when they start producing with consistency.
