how to fix batting in last 10 overs

Rahul needs to come in at No.4  ... if he gets settled in this format, he will play some spectacular knocks with a certain regularity.  He has the ability to hit big 6s off both fast bowlers and spinners and can consolidate when required. He has a good technique and is a stroke-player. I don't know how the management is missing his versatility !

Dhoni will play on and there is no point discussing him.

Pandya needs a competitor who will replace him in some matches and keep him on his toes.  He has been batting too casually a bit too often.  The back-up can be a seamer or spinner-allrounder.

We need to find another batter who  1)  Has the ability to hit fast bowlers   2)   Is not a casual character, plays with intensity and has a decent technique.  Gill maybe that guy after 1 or 2 years.  Who can be that guy now  ?

TBH Raina's stats are not as bad as Rahane, Dhoni, Yuvi etc in past few years. Also he is an impact player who can go from ball 1, a great fielder and handy part timer.

Can someone pull Raina's stats for last 3 years?

Iyer should play at no.4 or he shouldn't play at all. Don't think he can hit big ones.

he can but it is seriously silly expecting someone playing his 5th ODI to bash fast bowlers on these pitches.  Irrespective of which newcomer you bring in, would struggle. Dhoni who was our biggest striker in ODIs at his prime averages 28 in SA with a top score of 65 after 17 games with an SR of 80.  Yuvraj Singh our second best middle order ODI batsman averages 15 in SA after 11 games with one 50 and SR of 68 and you people are expecting a 4-match old batsman will come and start bashing 6 foot plus fast bowlers bowling 140 and more. These are seriously insane expectations and this is true for most of these youngsters.
