Agreed Ball tampering is not a major crime as compared to match fixing (it comes down to whether you consider IPL is as critical as a International Test match) CSK did pay the fine of sitting out for 2 years for Guru's betting and not players involved (unless you are saying MSD, Sir, Raina were betting too) It makes sense for Warner/Steve to take a break for a year and that most likely would be the punishment CA would levy on them.
