(b) Test match image 2

(c) test Match Image 2 because I said so

(d) Test match Image 2 because that is so pure

(e) test match Image 2 because you grew up watching it

(f) test matcg Image 2 because your parents told you so

(g) test match image 2 because you resist change

Hint: Pick a

Most who watch test resist change and hold on the past.

The Times They Are A-Changin'
Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'.
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'.
Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.
The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'.
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'.

if you're cultured, intellectual, appreciate the intricacies of difficult cricket then test cricket is your game

if you are shallow, simple minded and don't have a deep understanding of cricket t20 for you

t20 cricket will burn out....its foundations are poor (low quality players can contribute, best team doesn't always win, overkill with superlative performances). If India decide to break away from ICC and test model and have IPL all year round...viewership will be low outside of India as prestige of IPL currently resides in the International status of its players. Lose international cricket and you lose what makes the tournament. Id like to see how many people from around the world tune in to see Shreyas Gopal against Ambati Rayudu in a domestic tournament.

Last year, IIRC, at the :mi: vs KKR game at the Wankhede, Raghuram Rajan and his family were seated two places to my left.

Never met such a shallow and naive simpleton before. Formulating economic policies is obviously child's play compared to understanding the intricacies of test cricket.

and if Stephen Hawking or Einstein were to watch porn, would that make it a sophisticated endeavour?

You are not even funny. Five days vs few hours. Huge difference.

Yep, huge difference. Typical uninterrupted test cricket ~ 450 overs while T20 is at most 40 overs. More than a factor of 11.

That probably means your type of genome will evolve into supporters of F-5 where 5 deliveries are the typical attention span and T20 seems grandpa's cricket aka funeral. And then they'll spout retarded nonsense like the era of ABDV & Sachin played amateur cricket just like your opinions of Holding & Lillee's era.

No.

What a person chooses at leisure has very little to do with the person's intellectual capabilities (or lack thereof).

Sometimes it does, for instance an absolute lack of intellect will not allow a person to enjoy Kasparov vs Deep Blue.

3 mnts I said. There will be daily update and you can choose to ignore it. It is called freedom of speech. I know that game is a big deal for pakistan but I have the right to laugh at two below average teams playing.

Don't feel sorry for me. I feel sorry for people who glorify a dead format. Betamax, Betamax all the way.

FYI freedom of speech also implies others can call u simpleton or having such tendencies.

And what's this technology nonsense you're pulling up for comparison time and again ? Shouldn't you be then playing EA sports cricket on your computer which is way more technologically awesome than homo sapiens hitting stitched leather with wood, whether its for 3 hours or 5 days ?

Paul Joseph Watson is a moronic bigot, I generally ignore his ramblings but he may have the answer to your question.

Who the hell told ya we r classy (ye tumko kaun bola ki apun log classy) :giggle: The truth is we find test matches at the highest level great to watch and hence some of us call them classy.

Its funny though, the broad range of comparisons & mentions this thread brought about. Film, technology, art, porn and what not :phehe:
