My logic is different. Whoever opens will find it difficult. Pujara is someone who will bat same way wherever the bats and has more chances of survive new ball even if he doesn't score a lot of score a lot. It is important that our 4, 5, 6 are good and score a lot of runs.

Exposing Pujara to the new ball is not a good idea.

Mostly Pujara may be dropped and if Pujara is not dropped than dhawan will be dropped as KL rahul Scored in both the innings in the practice match ahead of Karthik and scored runs where as pujara scored few runs in second innings only.

All the KL Rahul bandwagon even he seems to inconsistent either century or will loose his wicket. He needs to improve some his shot selections.

how? he will bat same way anywhere. he is anyway face the new ball once whoever gets out in first or second over so better he faces the new ball.  he will survive those early overs better than Dhawan or Rahul.
