The Dark Horse
The team needed his batting with a lead of 500+ YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
asterix
He’s injured & struggling. Not sure if he can recover by tomorrow..India should do well to keep him out of equation... YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
Gollum
He has 15+ hours time to recover. Don't see why he can't bowl at least 15 overs tomorrow, don't worry we'll win no matter what. Link to comment
R.D forever
Clearly struggling even after resting whole day. Cannot pivot so cannot extract turn and bounce. At Max can keep one end quiet. Hope he is not needed tmr YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
sensible-indian
Front on action. Very little pivot. Even though he looked threatening today, things can fizz away fast. If he goes wicketless in the first spell/session, he could be taken apart. Signs are not good. Let's hope for the best. Edited August 20, 2018 by sensible-indian YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
Shunya
England are done and dusted for this game. Should not use him anymore. YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
Gollum
He looked good today tbh, hope Patrick Farhart can work his magic. YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
Ankit_sharma03
Thats why its important to have 5th bowler Aboout ashwin- dnt use him if not required lets not aggravate his injury now , if needed send him back to India and get in Siraj saik and YedrgeOr 1 1 Link to comment
putrevus
How was he injured again. YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment
asterix
How did he got injured? Really affected his bowling and extended the match... Even if he gets ‘fit’ by next match, can’t trust him. Get Jaddu in his place as England probably drop atleast one of the two lefty openers. Probably Jennings will make way for a right hand batsman. YedrgeOr 1 Link to comment

His bowling was genius level, just unlucky really. I have never seen anyone so enthralling since Akram. Akram too didn't get enough wickets to justify his mastery over batsmen...he was mostly too good to get wickets. Probably the reason why so many batsmen call him the toughest to face...IMO Ashwin is the spin equivalent of Akram. YedrgeOr and SandeepMotta 1 1 Link to comment
WeStMiDz
His control of seam position I haven't seen in an off spinner before to be honest. Outstanding. Link to comment
shortbread
As far as Indian test spinners go, there's Ashwin.... daylight and the rest. If he's not available for rest of the series, it will be good for England. SandeepMotta 1 Link to comment
sensible-indian
Ashwin with simplified action is simply the best spinner in my opinion. So much threat bowling with an injured hip. Even in Lord's, he bowled a bunch of bad balls but created quite a few chances. Here's a funny fact: Rashid 7 wickets 26 average Ashwin 7 wickets 33 average Ashwin must be feeling miserable lol. A few cheap wickets here and there make all the difference. If Ashwin was given those marginal 2 lbws (Stokes and Rashid), he would hav averaged 25 instead of 33. Link to comment
