Which indian roorkie pacers has a realistic chance of getting success in the intl arena?

He will only start as a back up for Bhuvi to provide a tight opening spell.. 3 overs of the trot and 1 over some time in the middle.. 

Bumrah, Pandya have mostly been our death bowlers..  Bhuvi has done well in death in recent times, but it's taken him years of experience to master that.. he too started off as a conventional swing bowler

Nagarkoti may do well in test matches too, if he improves certain aspects.  

 

As of today, he does not move the newer ball much and lacks natural bounce. Lack of both these skillsets can be impediments to test match success, especially overseas . Atleast one of them is needed.

 

But he is skiddy quick and has a great yorker and skiddy quick stump directed delivery.  These may come in very handy in ODIs.   He may do really well in tests in Asia too if he can reverse the ball.

 

I don't have any issues with his fitness. He is very flexible and athletic.

Ash I see.  And Mavi I believe then is able to move the ball Better than him then.. I think they are about same is speed or Nagar just a bit faster.

Mavi has a big inswinger.  And gets steep bounce from just short of a length and even good length at times.  

 

Nagarkoti maybe a bit quicker than Mavi ... but not by much. Mavi bowled two deliveries at 150 k in the IPL.

Is Mavi injured now  ?   He is part of the India-A squad in the Quadrangular tournament ... and unless he has injured himself in the last 3 days, he is ok.

 

Injuries are part and parcel of a fast bowler's life.  And they are often more frequent before age 23 and after age 32 or thereabouts. Young fast bowlers are more prone to injury.

 

Rabada, Starc and Cummins were all injured during the IPL. Probably Hazelwood too.  It is normal.

Infact I though my analysis was right after watching the recently concluded IPL....he kept bowling short, eventhough, batsmen were going after him...he didn't seem to have plan B.

Anyways, IPL should never be a yardstick to evaluate someone's talent

Pace bowling is not just about pace, swing and bounce .... But also about setting up the batsmen and getting into the brain of the batsmen and out-foxing him ..

Only indian pace bowlers who did this was Zaheer Khan and to certain extent irfan pathan. ( From last 10 years). I have started seeing this trait in bumrah and I am pleasantly surprised about it....

We already have 2 completely dump bowlers in the side....Ishant and Umesh....we don't want one more...

I don't think you have watched enough of Rajpoot then. No way he can be labelled as dumb. He is a fantastic prospect as far as test matches are concerned. Infact he should play in Australia due to his height and ability to move the ball and wicket taking ability.

Yes it was Avesh who was continuously bowling short and another issue with his bowling was ,fluctuating speeds
