Helmets were first used in test cricket in 1978.  This incident was in 1976.

 

Even after they started to be used, many batters did not use them because they did not grow up wearing helmets and felt uncomfortable

It's an absolute joke that pant and Raul are discarded for mugs like raydud ,Pandey,dk etc and trundlers like kaul keep getting call

Actually I do see a random wild card possibility. IPL is just too big in the minds of selectors to ignore some special performance going into the world cup.

 

I am sure there is a surprise left for us to see before world cup.

 

I won’t mind a surprise though where Rayudu has been asked to stay home and baby sit some Dhaba in Guntur.

yuvraj has been struggling in domestic n IPL to now, his fitness is falling and he isnt coming from playing a lot of cricket
