Then we cry about not getting proper teams and grounds for practice matches.

Bcci has a bunch of snobs sitting and taking such silly decisions .

Could have accomodated them in noida or dehradun.

yup they wont use the new ground in Dehradun wont give international games..atleast consider for practice..use the venue.

BCCI is just a bunch of nincompoops.

they need to find a ground where windies can train, they are an international ( infact multinational team ) and deserve that much.

Pathetic and arrogant from BCCI.

They will do it according to tour itinerary when tour starts.  Why should they do it in advance?

The monsoon was supposed to finish by 15th sept.

The decision must have been taken much before.

Anyways ...this rain is only for next few days.

Dehradun to nahi ho sakta...but noida would have been fine ...or any other place.

Noida is used as home ground by Afghanistan.  Afghan U19 team is already practicing there to play against India U19. Noida stadium is not owned by BCCI or its association.  Afghans too will have to pay for using the stadium facilities to UP govt. Not just senior domestic cricket but peopel do not realize the amount of cricket played in India at several levels in these months from U14, U16, U19, to U23 and now 37 domestic teams and so many games, there is hardly any place left for others.

They had to consider the monsoon as well, we just had 5 days of continuous rain here and then hotels too as there are no 5-star hotels near stadium.

Regarding Dehradun, if they give it to WI where it WI where will state cricketers go.  Uttarakhand is in the process of selecting their age groups teams and playing games at the stadium.

They can go to the side of the ground one corner or just go outside the stadium and insert some stumps in the dirt..

Anyway, Dehradun stadium is owned by UK govt and it is not a BCCI property.  BCCI would not like to pay fee for the use of stadium by WI team.

Cause WI asked nicely I don't know.. Damn man give it a rest.

and BCCI replied nicely that due to heavy load of domestic cricket they are unable to do that in advance.  These things have to be decided done long before.  In a country where you have 37 teams along with their U14, U16, U19, and U23 teams playing cricket, it is not feasible to make last minute adjustments or changes.

nothing pathetic about it.  It is monsoon season, so, there wont be any use for them if the come here.  we also have VH trophy going on also affected by monsoon. 37 teams playing 169 matches. Venues are already occupied.

So if we were to tour Australia and they sent us to NZ to practice, it wouldn't be pathetic?

India fans would be out on the streets burning stuffed kangaroos

Do we ever go to any tour in advance? WI tour has not started yet.  When it starts according to itinerary, BCCI will provide them the facilities.  Warm up game will be played on 29. You have to ask for these facilities long in advance.  You cannot just turn up 15 days before the starts ask for these things during heavy domestic calendar.  WI wanted to come in early which is not possible at the last minute.   At least, 185 domestic teams from u14 to FC cricket are already there to use those facilities.
