Just like in FIFA WC most teams are from Europe, and only Argentina and Brazil are good teams from outside Europe,Asia cup will become like that.No hope is left from Windies , NZ is hardly improving while SA has terribly declined and expected to decline further due Quota.Only England and Australia will be good teams. Moreover most of above nations hardly care about Limited over cricket.

I don't think many care about Asia Cup either.  Ind sent its B or C team. Would have been better to send a under-30 team in future or scrap this tournament ....  this time, only positive was to see AFG perform well

Pandya (injured though).  Our selections were not spot on w/ TTFs .... and we rotated our bowlers as well which included B or C bowlers

The bowlers were rotated against extreme minnow like Hong Kong.or in not so important match against Afghanistan.

In 2013 when India was playing Australia in ODI series and series was tied at 3-3 , them Mitchell Johnson was called back so that he can do practice for upcoming Ashes which was 1-2 months away. This is you call not really caring about winning.

The reason sounds more like a fragment of your imagination  .... I don't recall that. But based on your post, the series was tied 3-3, so I guess you are talking about the 7th game. And a player is called to practise for just one game for a test that is 1-2 month away!

PS what are you trying to debate here - Ind is full strength? That Asia Cup is important? Or would it become a premier tournament?
