Unadkat has picked just 1 wicket in the 2 matches that he has played and he is playing ahead of Aaron who picked 2 wickets in the only match he played. Pathetic team selection from Iyer.

Iyer talks as if he already has become a Steve Waugh

Even the gatekeeper at Kotla has better cricketing sense than this talentless iyer

We will never ever have our Steve Waugh who was so ruthless ,didn't want to give an inch, who always asked his Pacers to go all out without caring about the runs they concede

Why don't we respect pace?

Why don't we respect our Pacers?

Why do we love seductive, clumsy pace of trundles?

I think even the 90's trundlers were faster than Unadkat and Chahar.

Is this the Md. Abbas effect  ?   (  although he has played just 11 tests  )   Selectors are suddenly filling A-teams and B and C teams too with trundlers.

For 50 years, either genuine fast bowlers or fast-medium bowlers with steep-bounce or swing,  have been top international pacers in most cases.

But Indian cricket's love for trundlers seems to have got a new lease of life.

Don't think its the Abbas effect. I think its a deliberate attempt to sideline genuine quickies. Now this is becoming blatant. Also, one cant rule out money being exchanged in between all this.
