FischerTal Posted November 25, 2018 Author Posted November 25, 2018 (edited) Since we only have 6 players, I wanted to make this tournament interesting. first we will have each player go up against every single other player to determine rankings by seeing who can win in a best out of 3 contests. after the rankings are out, #4 and #5 will play each other in an elimination setting. whoever wins from those two will face #3 and then #2 and then finally match between whoever is number one and the winner of the previous games. keeping in mind that everybody is most likely busy, we won't be playing with classical controls because it would take too long. i was hoping for 10 minute time controls or maybe 20 minute time controls. @Singh bling @jusarrived @I6MTW @velu @sourab10forever what time works for you guys? also, do you prefer 10 minute time controls or 20? Mariyam Posted November 25, 2018 Posted November 25, 2018 Count me in. 10 mins per player per game is a lot of time. That's 20 mins a game! Lets make it 3 or 5 mins per player per game. That makes it difficult to cheat and also the entire thing gets done faster.

I6MTW Posted November 26, 2018 Posted November 26, 2018 I think we need one more player, makes it 8, sort of even and then we can decide the tournament format based on that. I think 10 mins is good, not too long, or too short .
