I am talking about the best. If 11 people are representing a population of a billion plus you dont need someone good you need absolutely the best. I am talking multiple SD's from the median.

Your assumption is already proven wrong by all-rounders in cricket .... Additionally in cricket, there are 4-5 specialist batsmen and 3-4 specialist bowlers (depending upon combination). Talking about the best, not every batsman is a Kohli and a bowler a Bumrah. There is a hierarchy when it comes to skills in team sports Ankit_sharma03 1
