Everything from the Sc appointed body and their idiot selectors who have no idea what is happening or players fitness levels or their picking of coaches and captains is in total disarray.how did we come down to this? werent things supposed to be better with SC in control? i Feel the primary problem is the Selectors and Kohli having too much control.

This is about Kohli and his ridiculous track record of making fatal squad selection and even worse playing 11 selection,i cant think of 1 captain who consistently messes up selections.

Which Indian captain in your opinion never made any selection messes ?

I cant remember the entire story around it but dravid/ganguly went into the final test against Pak with sehwag as the only opener and then Sehwag didnt even open. We lost the test and series.

You guys used to say the same thing about Dhoni every time Team India lost a match, be it by one run or by one innings.

That guy got our chief selector sacked, this guy got the coach - see any similarities?

There is a lovely search engine use it to read how Sunny used to do what he wanted. Read up about him and Kapil or him and bedi.

Also do readup on mohinder amarnath, how he called selectors bunch of clowns or jokers and what happened next.

Who cares what they did, in the here & now Kohli is (power) drunk as * He has no checks & balances - gets his yes man as coach, gets his team as he wants, gets OTH Dhoni a permanent place in the LO setup, drops test "specialists" any time he wants for his LO buddies - yet can't produce positive results against probably the worst sides we're facing in S.E.N.A in nearly 3 decades!

You have to be blind or a fanboi to ignore his obvious own goals that hurt team India

Which world class overseas titans is he not selecting, exactly? Some names would be helpful.

What, where did I say that? Do you understand what I wrote?

Constantly bungling up team selections - now you either ignore such major blunders, like picking Sharma any & every time he can, or you don't. You can just suck up every excuse he gives, alongside that BS TM line

Lets be rational, Eng is top test side so beating them in england was anyways going to be a tall task. Infact if this english team had a lyon we would have a tough time beating them in India as well.  SA again are a decent side and certainly no push overs at home yes we should have done better specially in the first test. Series against Aus still isnt over so hold your horses.

Now lets also look inwards, we dont have openers, middle order is unreliable. Rookie keeper. You dont win test matchs with this kind of lineup. Now before you crib about team selection Shaw was picked poor chap picked injury.

Yeah cute reply, not understanding what was said & then running away with lame innuendos, real classic hit & run :yess:

The influence of sports agents has become the bane of Indian cricket, before it was Dhoni and Rhiti sports and now Kolhi and Bunty Sajdeh taking it to a whole new level, People who sign up with them are favoured in selection matters and given a much longer rope where as anyone with rival agencies is pushed aside. Sad times.

I thought the test where Rohit WAS NOT in the team was the one we lost.

England excepted we had great chances to win in SA, Aus. I can excuse England only because we had injuries to Kumar & Bumrah before the series started, whether it was fully known to the TM is as yet unclear. That's why I won't blame that heap on Kohli, however his team selections were awful in England as well - playing Kuldeep on the greenest of green Lord's, heck greener than the one in 2014. Playing just one (unfit?) spinner at Rose Bowl, are some of the major ones that are unfathomable IMO.

I'm talking about SA tour & why is he back again for Aus?

SA i again dont blame Kohli because we landed and were straight into a test, no practice games nothing. It was just sad cause we played decent cricket. Aus as i said let the series finish and then talk about it.

It was the TM who decided not to practice in SA, England didn't they? I can't see how this excuse flies for a third time, in Aus.
