King Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Whatever I quite liked IS giving Symo a send off. Sure Symo played a good knock but he has had no answer to IS this summer. I think Symo cannot bear that. What a ball IS bowled to get rid of Symo? I guess Symo cannot bear that. In the end it was Symo that lost his marbles. Only once did Symo fire in this series and he's starting to feel like the Don. If 15% is all the bowler is going to be fined, I'd like to see bowlers abuse and send off like IS did every time Symo gets out.
King Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 That's because he reckons he's 4 year old and can throw toys out of the pram every time he's thrashed. He will get better with a bit of education.
yoda Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Very misunderstood sensitive young lad our Simmo. Has to be protected from rough and unruly types like Ishant and Harbhajan. :D
King Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 :hysterical: One look at the video will suggest what happened there.

koksmayu Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 India lodge complaint about being 'provoked' The bitterness in the relationship between Indian and Australian cricketers has again crept in with the Indian team management today lodging a written complaint with the Match Referee about the provocative behaviour of the home team. The Indians, whose tour of Australia have been marked by a racism row and a series of on-field altercations, have threatened to take a "befitting action" if Ricky Ponting and his men persisted with such behaviour. "We have written to the Match Referee Jeff Crowe and we will take a befitting action if it continued" Indian team manager Vimal Soni said. Young fast bowler Ishant Sharma this morning was docked 15 per cent of his match fee for finger-pointing a departing, abrasive Andrew Symonds from the middle in yesterday's tri-series game in Sydney. It led the Indians to draft a strongly-worded letter to Crowe in which they have mentioned specific incidents of "provocation" by the Australians. "We accept the match referee's decision for Ishant to have transgressed the Level 1.6 ICC Code of Conduct," Soni said, adding, "We also wanted him to have a look at the provocation which Australians have been repeatedly providing in the series." "Much has happened in recent past and we didn't want to open up old wounds by making a complaint against the Australians. But we have mentioned specific incidents in the letter to match referee," he said. good

coffee_rules Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Whats the issue then with what I.S. said? :haha: IS said something and flew the bird at Symonds. That's why he was punished.
suraj Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Ishant was quite clearly OTT. He was just having a friendly conversation:finger::finger:

Donny Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 I feel like punching Ian Healy in the face.:mad::mad: Why ?
Desi Cartman Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I saw the last 20 mins of Aus U19 Vs Pak U19 game and in the end they showed the "highlights" . The Aussie bowlers were all over the Pakistanis with the sledges and impolite behavior. I'm not criticizing Australia or CA but just want to point out that this is what the youngsters are learning. They will take this abuse or mental disintegration to another level. The skipper in the presentation said " A lot was happening but we didn't do anything outside the rules , did we ? " He was right they didn't do anything that wasn't within the rules but if they are losing temper at the age of 19 then what are they gonna do in few years time. Its sad .. and its not that only Aussies are doing it !
Bumper Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I feel like punching Ian Healy in the face.:mad::mad: Why ? Methinks, he's complimenting Ian Healy.
