GolGappe Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Let's wait till both teams have batted on the same track before reaching any conclusions.
Suhaan Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 My main concern is 2-2 combination, they should bowl the spinners as much as they can(if the pitch assists the spinners) Bumrah ,Shami have sent down a hell lot of overs,Bhuvi is injured? Why these morons are'nt declaring it officially?
Vijy Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Pandya would have made as many runs as KLR (who is in wretched form) and could have taken the load off bumrah and shami, both of whom (esp bumrah) are very important for WC 2019. we have only 3 bowlers now, since kuldeep cannot be relied upon. zen 1

Why these morons are'nt declaring it officially? Bumrah and Shami are more effective when they get relatively shorter spells as they tend to put in a lot of effort in their spells .... it could be hard to bowl both of them in tandem for longer spells in particular .... so basically, the spin has to be the workhorse .... If someone like Kuldeep can pick up a 5-er, it can alleviate the situation and get the team out of jail

Pandya appears to be in good shape as he scored 80+ and picked up a 5-er in domestics recently iirc

jf1gp_1 Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 Pandya would have been a better opener than Rahul. Unbelievable he was picked again.
wanted_desi Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 We are winning because he is not playing. How about that! Rightarmfast 1

At No. 7 and have Pant at 6 who isn't doing much better? Or at 8 and cut one specialist bowler who is doing well? We need 6 batting heavyweights at the top of the order and Pant at 7 with 4 specialist bowlers. What's the average if Vihari?

Kuldeep will surprise you.

rkt.india Posted January 3, 2019 Posted January 3, 2019 We are going to miss third seamer, make no mistake about it. zen 1

If he doesn't, bring in someone else who will.
