More than any team. Australia comes in second with 7. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
I am convinced. This guy should replace Biriyani. Mosher 1 Link to comment

We weren't minnows in 83, neither Pak in 92 nor SL in 96, underdogs sure but not minnows. So when we are counting the WC pressure games we have to take into account the top 8 teams, WI being the 8th due to their history. There's only 1 certified minnow that made it to the WC SF in the last 40 odd years - I'll let you guess who they are. Link to comment

Mosher
Better to have Shankar instead of Raydud. Shankar is a much better batsman against pacers and can give you 3-4 overs when needed. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Personally Shankar surprised me a lot with his batting. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
He scored all his 46 runs with pure cricketing shots. NO slogging. No fancy shots. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
That was the only way Shankar was going to get out. Nikola and beetle 2 Link to comment
Mosher
Unlucky to get out this way. Edited March 5, 2019 by Mosher beetle and Nikola 2 Link to comment

Forever Indian
That's really unfortunate. Shankar is yet to get out to a wrong shot in ODIs, both his dismissals have been run-outs after he rescued the team from collapses. beetle 1 Link to comment

vvvslaxman
One difference i notice between shankar and some of the middle order is he never blocks any ball unless if it is really really good. He always tries to stroke every single ball. That is why he is rotating the strike. It is the intent that makes the difference. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Shankar+Pandya+SHankar = 20 overs. Link to comment
Turning_track
Vijay Shankar played well today, such an unfortunate way to get out. Looked set to get a big one today which could've done a world of good for his confidence. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Come on Kohli .. stop hitting stright to bowler lol Now Jadhav could have been out. Link to comment

He looks to be a confident player of spin & has a decent technique against pace too. No way should Hackudud leapfrog this guy for the WC, it'd be worse than Mongia over VVS in 2003 WC Link to comment
