Issue is ... how much do stats 1) in a T20 tournament 2) Featuring quite a few non international level players and 3) Being played on sluggish Indian pitches matter for selection 1) In a 50 over tournament 2) Featuring only international players and 3) To be played on faster pitches in England. It is almost like a different game. Look what happened to Rayudu against quick bowling in international 50 over matches after he was selected there based on T20 performances in the IPL.
