It’s all because of his constant chop and change to his playing XI that KXIP has failed to qualify for the playoffs 2 years in a row from strong positions. KL Rahul a meek guy who has this stage fright even as a player. Not a captaincy material any chance. There is a problem with his squad. Not many T20 specialists. Gayle T20 specialist. KL Rahul decided to change to ODI specialist for selfish reasons. personally i am happy with that. Agarwal not a T20 specialist. Mandeep not a T20 specialist. Curran is fairly new. With puran curran they have two super solid guys they should retain and make Gayle captain. Also pic some young indian bowlers. Rohit is blessed with strong bowling line up and couple of massive hitters down the order. He could make mistakes and get away. But others have to understand stability is more important. If you want to learn something from Dhoni that is it. Identify the XI and back them. Kohli is the opposite. Very impatient. Couple of failures he will toss them out. First job is to identify the perfect XI in the very first match stick to it. One or two changes may be depending on the conditions. David Miller utter flop. Not an ideal side. Indeed Rabada and Shikhar Dhawan as well has changed the ranking of this DC team by their performances. Dhawan solves the lack of runs by DC openers in last IPL. Rabada solved the lack of wickets issue by DC pacers. Pant and Iyer are no more the only two performers.
