maniac Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 When I saw Wahab reversing the ball against Afghan a lot the other day ,I thought Pakistanis are back to their original antics. Just caught up on a few highlights of Aus-Srilanka game where Starc and co were reversing a mile as well. I am going to tread this carefully because don’t want to automatically assume the brown guy (even if a Pakistani) is guilty and the white guy is clean and as we say doodh ka dhula hua. However with the recent scandal that happened in australia and the 2 guys in the middle of it back, don’t think realistically they would be back to those antics. The ball hardly reversed in the Eng-Pak series but suddenly teams are getting around to figure out a way on these flat pitches. Have they figured out a way to reverse a 20 over old ball? Is their something else shady going on? With all the field rules, reverse swing is going to be a big factor this wc.
Franco Vazquez Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 The ball reverse swung in the first odi at death of Pakistan innings. Anyways it’s good that the ball is reversing otherwise it would be too boring
Nikhil_cric Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 I hope the cameras will be monitoring everything happening on the ball. We don't need teams taking undue advantage by manipulating the ball .

Vilander Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 20 over balls reversing could be down to the quality of the ball.
