LOL One good performance and Bhuvi fans now taking a dig at the expense of world's no 1 bowler.

Lol you are the one who used the CT as an example for bhuvi you hypocrite

Bhuvi bowled well. That two wicket over changed the match. Would like to see Bhuvi do this on regular basis and certainly need one of our main bowlers to strike with new ball consistently.

Two good games, where he’s significantly contributed to help India over come two top teams. In a World Cup where Aus, Eng, SA, Pak, WI have already lost- that’s pretty good going.

Ghanta kept low. It was hitting top of leg

Look where the ball pitched:

And look where it was hitting the stumps:

Definitely not top of the stumps. :giggle:

You can the look the dismissal yourself without using boooby goggles. It kept low and the wicket offered quiet decent bounce. Smith played for the length according to where it pitched.

Note: I don't mean it was very low. Compared to where the ball was pitched it managed to get just over middle of stumps height.

LoL 3 wickets is his best. Ab Kya jaan loge uski? At his best he usually picks up a wicket or two. Today three... :woot:

Which wrist spinner bowled better yesterday Polly, according to you?

I think Shami needs to play along with boom and bhuv.

Someone else should sit out .

Kedar?

Bhuvi and shami can bat responsibly to cover the batting for him .

If it 8s pacer friendly wkt...then shami can come in place of kuldeep.

Against teams like Pak, SL, BD - Shami for Kuldeep is a no-brainer.  Unless the track is super helpful to spin.

"No matter if it is a white cat or a black cat; as long as it can catch mice, it is a good cat."

I know pimply faced speed-gun lovers don't find Bhuvi's bowling appealing enough for their fake machismo.   But he has proven time and again that he is an effective white-ball bowler.  As he did yesterday.  If that's 'luck', he sure is one lucky bastard.

I'd rather take his so-called luck for now instead of brainless pace, which characterizes the likes of Umesh Yadav. Pace bowlers should have a minimum speed threshold of 135 kmph and most balls I saw by Bhuvi were in this range.

Chahal bowled better. Kuldeep has not bowled badly but nothing special just like boooby most of the times except yesterday. Unlike you I am not biased. Chahal was way better than kuldeep last match or even the one before.

Looks like there is some misunderstanding here. New guy said ball didn't keep low very confidently. Hence my previous post. It was in no way intentioned to belittle bhuvi's contribution in the previous match. 'Lucky' things such as those even out in the course of the match. The problem is look at bhuvi's stats. Those are plain pathetic and spells put the entire story. Let's keep aside previous match. Most of the times even on his best day he just manages to pick up a wicket or two in ODIs. Many times he just finished his quota with no wickets but is economical. The point is if he is second pacer in the team which he is always then he better be more than just an economical bowler.
