philcric Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 The semi finalists are locked. 1/2 - Aus/Ind 3 - Eng 4 - NZ I believe both Aus and Ind would prefer to top the table and play NZ in the semis. NZ appears to be the weakest team among the four. There are only 2 matches of any significance left in the league. They are the last 2 matches in the league phase and happening on the same day (Saturday). Ind vs SL and Aus vs SA. For India to top the table, they have to win against SL and Aus has to lose to SA. Does SA have any chance to beat Aus ?

SK_IH Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 NZ defeating Aus would be lol worthy and it is not far off. I hope don't over rate this Australian side, they are very good but a far cry from those great Australian juggernauts. I hope NZ put up 250 plus in the semis PS: SA look mentally done, don't see them beating Aus

Lots of crowd, Lot of support for both SA and Australia and then a billion Indians were watching it to see if India will top the table... Amazing match.... Real McCoy Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Saffers took revenge on the aussies for the 99 world cup loss I hope England qualify. In order to win the world cup fair and square, we need to beat the teams we didn't beat in the league stages - NZ and Eng. Perfect opportunity for us DHONI_FANN 1
