Nikola Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 I think that hat trick (4 wickets in 4 balls) vs south africa is his best performance in worldcup even though it came in loss. cricketfan28 and Prakat 2
rageaddict Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 (edited) He was the best bowler of the 2007 WC. Still remember how he nearly won the Cup for SL in that tournament. Saw him for the First time in Asia Cup 2004, that's 15 years ago and was shocked to see how a Bowler was being allowed to throw the ball because the action was so unique and never seen before. His record of 4 Wickets in 4 Balls is still unmatched by any other bowler. Was also a decent bowler in the 2011 WC and at his best could bowl the best slinging Yorkers in the World. Have seen him Winning countless tight matches for his side in the end overs because he was always hard to get away for the new batsmen , but has been a pale shadow of himself for the last many years with a few decent performances here and there. There are so many matches where he turned the game around from certain defeat to a resounding victory. Truly a legendary gamechanger.
vijay50 Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 He finished India in T20 WC finals in 2014 and made Yuvraj look like Boycott. Prakat 1
sage Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 Does this mark the end of Lankan ODI dominance (somewhat)? All the legends that got them to two WC finals are retired now. Vilander 1

gattaca Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 (edited) Groping allegations against him. I don’t think any sensible person supports him. Edited July 6, 2019 by gattaca MCcricket 1
