zen Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Ind has reached the SF of the 2020 T20 WC. The team is currently meeting to plan and prepare for the big game: Kohli: Should we bat or bowl first? Cheerleader: Team batting 2nd has a better record at the venue Rohit: Always bat first in KO game Cheerleader: That works as well. We can put pressure on the opposition with our bowling Kohli: So that is settled. What should be the par score? Cheerleader: 2019 was a great year for us except for that 30 mins in the SF. Rohit: Yes, I still remember that. We should try to bat for as long as possible and leave the hitting for the last 5 overs Pandya: But the par score is 200 here? Surely, we can't leave it to the last 5 overs? Kohli: The team depends upon the top 3 so we would (or at least one of us) try to stay till the end. Cheerleader: Even if we get 160, our bowling should defend it in the pressure game Pandya: But the opponent has been scoring at 9-10 runs an over. It even scored 200+ against us in the group game Rohit: Pressure games are different. 160 is like 200 Kohli: So that is settled. We will aim for 160. Pandya: What if we are chasing? Should we follow the RRR? Rohit: Remember what happened in the SF19? We have to keep wkts in hand. And Dhonibhai is back too so as long as the last ball is to be bowled, Ind is in the game. Cheerleader: Yes, Dhoni will go out in style. Kohli: So that is settled. If we are chasing, we keep wkts in hand in the first 15 overs. And then go after the target in the last 5 Dhoni: Don't worry, I am back! Cheerleader: Yes, we have to learn from our mistakes. Those 30 mins in 2019. Pandya: Cricspin, sandeep, Unstable Joe and 2 others 1 4
velu Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 kohli : "we will go with chahal , our trumpcard when defending under extreme pressure situations" Cheerleader: "completely agree with chikoo. we will drop kuldeep and go with chahal. order a round neck jersey for him , otherwise he will bite the collar"
Ajju Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 (edited) Winning or loosing does not matter as long as process going smooth. Team talk: opp scored 220 we have to attack from word go Dhoni: I never mind about RR Edited January 1, 2020 by Ajju Mosher, Unstable Joe and jf1gp_1 3
zen Posted January 1, 2020 Author Posted January 1, 2020 Press Conference before the game: Reporter 1: What has Dhoni done to justify his comeback? Cheerleader: What Dhoni has done is for everyone to see. In a game, nothing ever goes as per the plan (our plan). To tackle the dynamically changing situation, team relies on quick thinking players like Dhoni. His presence alone inspires others to perform as we saw the other day how Pant scored that quick 50. Reporter 2: So who would play in the SF - Dhoni or Pant? Cheerleader: Pant has a lot of years ahead of him and is still learning so we will opt for Dhoni's experience. We believe that Dhoni can do a Dilip Kumar in Vidhata: Mosher and Unstable Joe 2

Team talk: opp scored 220 we have to attack from word go Dhoni: I never mind about RR 50 to get of 13 balls, Dhoni and Bhuvi are batting Last ball of the 18th over, Bhuvi swings but only hits it to the 3rd man. Dhoni at non striker refuses single to keep strike 50 of 12 18.1 Dhoni swings but does not get the power. Refuses single to stay on strike. 50 of 11 18.2 Dhoni swings again. This time, they take 2. 48 of 10 18.3 Dhoni does a helicopter. 6. 42 of 9 18.4 Dhoni gets an inside edge. 4 38 of 8 18.5 Dhoni takes 2. 36 of 7 18.6 Dhoni swings again. Will they come back for 2? Dhoni takes a single to keep strike Last over 35 of 6. Every ball has to go for a 6 (unless there is a no ball) 19.1 a big no ball .... now Use your imagination
