Don't mistake me.., Iyer is still ok but Pandey is a proven failure but Kohli clings on... chaddi buddy affection not affection...I think Kohli feels more secure with mediocre batsmen (who try hard, or atleast seem to) around him.

Starc and Cummins were pretty good today and when they get it right, it's hard for most teams except maybe the English and Indians on their day... But letting their two pie chuckers get away with 20 overs is a sin. INdia should have forced Aussies to bring back their seamers much early on.
Sandeep99 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 If Bumrah can get both Smith and Labuschane, I consider it as a win for India.
Ankit_sharma03 Posted January 14, 2020 Author Posted January 14, 2020 This is great temperament n fight by kuldeep n shami....lets not forget samne starc hai
ganeshran Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 If we get to 265 its at least something for the bowlers
shortbread Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Dhawan, Sharma, Kohli are set, they have the experience and can deliver the goods. The problems start 2 down: Rahul, Iyer will know after this series. Whether they simply look good against weak opposition or can stand up and perform against tougher opposition. Jadeja, hit or miss, but can deliver with the ball and is the teams best fielder. Might lose place on Hardik's return. Pant, got the long rope, plenty of chances. Need to figure out plan B, a backup keeper must be ready before the T20 world cup. The opposition have figured Pant out and are finding it easy to cramp him. Neither does Pant have the intelligence to play an innings according to the scenario. Put him under pressure and he will trow away his wicket. Maybe use Rahul as a keeper batsman, or opt for another youngster. I'm not saying drop Pant immediately, but having another option is vital if he continues to under perform. SrinjayDutta 1

They gave too much respect to the spinners. RAZPOR, SRT100, SrinjayDutta and 1 other 2 2

SRT100 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 disgraceful pathetic sub par total by India. Now watch India's overrated pace attack get torn apart tonight.

nitinbwj Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Shami is brainless.Even 2-3 runs in the end could have mattered.Horrible slog. Cricwala 1
Sandeep99 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Will be interesting to see how our bowlers go on this pitch... decent fight by the lower order. Hope they can many more such opportunities to bat and score those lower order runs...
Fool Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 25 under par if no dew 45 under par if there is dew
nitinbwj Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 If Australia are not 50/3 in the first 10,we are not winning this.

Tough task facing Starc and Cummins after having played ODI against West Indies. Still Zampa, Richardson and Agar are just average bowlers and hence i dont think this is the best ODI attack in world. The batsmen have probably played badly to score only 255 against this attack in home conditions that too when the sun was shining. RAZPOR 1

Sandeep99 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Warner Finch Smith Marnus Turner Carey Not to mention the really good lower order who can contribute. Sky is the limit of this Australian side. Favorites for the 2023 WC.
