Knowing Shastri and Kohli's fetish for Jugaad like playing Shankar at 4 or Jadhav as the 5th and 6th bowler or having 3 keepers pretty sure this is under consideration. I am not saying this is right or wrong but looks like TM will try and push Rahul as the permeant keeper-bat in LOI's. Just my theory. If Rahul can pull this off it would be great though but unfair on the young keeper-bats out there. raki05 1

Vk1 Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 LOI keeping is mostly about stumping and catching against spin. Most of the part time keepers like Rahul and batsman-wicket keepers like Pant are decent against fast bowling but below average against spin.

Pandya can play as the 6th bowler which will make us a very strong bowling unit.
