zen Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Amarnath was exceptional in Aus and WI. And can bowl too. Dhoni and Kapil at 6-7 weaken the batting esp. if taking on other AT11s, which would have AT bowlers too.

Would this team, or your choice, have won against SA, Eng, and NZ right now? What about against full strength Aus later this year

Having Gavaskar + the AT Indian bowlers is half the battle won But then I do not see a point of matching up an Ind side with AT players vs. regular sides of other teams (as it can indicate that we need an AT team to compete overseas) Edited March 1, 2020 by zen

Vinoo Mankad could be the guy, adds batting depth- scored centuries opening the batting vs Lindwall and Miller too
