Chances of having T20 world cup this year looks bleak

All premier leagues cancelled, Wimbledon cancelled, Olympic moved to next year.

Looking at the way Corona is going, I dont think normaly will return anytime soon.

 

Do you think we will have T20 world cup this year or are we doomed?

I doubt cricket or any sports will start till we have fully working solution on this virus. Might take couple of months or even year for that to happen. If situation is under control then there is chance but for now i think 80% chance of being postponed.

Probably for the best as Kohli and his bits n pieces T20 team were not winning jack anyway.

I am cool with postponement, not like we were going to do anything special. Hope even the Aus test tour gets cancelled, let these mahachewtiyas play IPL in winter.

India would have won it easily, especially with influx of top young players like Shivam Dube, Rishab Pant etc.

I hope icc have insurance and that insurance pays out....

 

Lots of insurers atleast in the uk are not paying out on policies

 

If the icc insurer goes bust or does not pay out then a lot of boards might do bankrupt...

Many are deferring on promised payouts.
