It's the knee dominants that need to work more in gym, work on strength to utilise longer back foot contact time. For hip dominants, more elastic workouts isometrics, jumping, running is important. They are tendon driven springy bowlers and need to have lighter physique. Their backfoot contact time is need to be lower. They require longer and quicker run-ups. Knee dominants are muscle or power bowlers. They need more time on backfoot to utilise that strength and power. They are also called static bowlers. They can bowl from shorter but slower run-up to utilize the power. Regarding Arshdeep, his landing is fine, same is Khaleel but its lack of upper body stiffness and lack of hip shoulder separation that is stopping him from putting his body. It will be interesting to see him from side on to see his center of mass position. Edited October 9, 2020 by rkt.india

Individuals are different and their requirements are different. In case of Saini, he is still able to bowl quickly. So those issues aren't limiting him like in case of Shoaib who didn't have braced front leg but that didn't stop him from bowling 155 kph. I did not say that there is a perfect technique that suits everyone. But the technique must be such that the pacer is able to maximize his potential in terms of both pace and bounce ... while putting least stress on his body. In case of Saini, he may bowl quickly but he lacks natural bounce. There is every chance that he may get hit due to this reason and won't be able to make best use of his high pace. Pace without bounce is not that good unless the ball is reversing or ducking in. Edited October 9, 2020 by express bowling

Knee dominant bowler delivery stride is such which requires arm delay to deliver at pace, that is obvious they backfoot contact needs to be elongated, but hip dominant dominant bowlers need a stiff backfoot contact,i got your point what you meant, they push the weight from their toes that is agin obvious they need strong tendon ligaments, they need to train very hard to make them strong Edited October 9, 2020 by Suhaan

express bowling Posted October 9, 2020 Author Posted October 9, 2020 Tyagi bowling 132 k to 142 k so far. But I am liking his bowling because he is hurrying batters, hitting the bat hard and getting bounce. Plus he has been accurate today. He has the mindset of a fast bowler and bowls a heavy ball with bounce. If he can bowl 135 k to 145 k, he will be unplayable. Stan AF, Mosher and Suhaan 3

His run-up looking very ungainly, running with very long strides. Though he was trained by one of the best fast bowling coach at RR before lockdown and worked on him rigourously. So maybe these changes might help him get quicker in future. I can see change in his running and action since then. He was definitely mean and fast and had he been in the team, I think he definitely would have developed into one of the meanest international bowlers. express bowling and Mosher 2

express bowling Posted October 9, 2020 Author Posted October 9, 2020 (edited) Gavaskar has become a big supporter of Indian fast bowlers in 2020. Saying that this surface needs pace and so RR has got Aaron and Tyagi. Also, he is one of the few commentators who is pointing out 145 k+ balls by Indians. Gavaskar said a few days back that Saini is the quickest RCB pacer. Good to hear that truth. Many people may have said Steyn, but Steyn of 2020 is slower than Saini of 2020.
